Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, garnered popularity after sharing her cleaning tips and recommendations on social media and TV. The cleaning enthusiast has managed to gain over 4.1 million followers on Instagram. Now, fans of hers have created their own social media groups dedicated to cleaning and tidying tips.

On one of the groups, a user asked how she can dust the inside of her radiator.

Sonia Fowler asked: “I want to dust the inside of my radiators, any suggestions for the best results?

“My steamer has given up the will to live!”

Radiators can often become clogged up with dust over time.

If removing your radiator from the wall doesn’t sound appealing, then Mrs Hinch fans’ handy hack should do the trick.

The trick to dusting inside radiators is to use a “hairdryer”, according to Mrs Hinch’s followers.

Facebook user Sue Payne Reay said: “I use my hairdryer.”

Ellie Hall replied: “Use a hairdryer to blow it out. I was horrified!”

Other suggestions from Mrs Hinch fans included using a brush.

Julie Marshall said: “I got along radiator brush to clean mine.”

Jean Sokell agreed and said: “Got a blue long brush from Lakeland, it’s brilliant.”

Keeping your radiator dust free can actually help to keep heating costs down.

Dust in between the fins can prevent heat from escaping.

Your radiators will be working harder to keep you warm.

Most households have a hairdryer, however, if you don’t have one there are some cheap options available.

ALDI and Boots UK are selling them for just £9.99.

Superdrug has a TRESemmé hairdryer for just £12.99.
