Estate agents Miles & Barr, who gave 12 sales and three letting branches across Kent, reflected on how the East Kent property market has fared during the latest lockdown. The company had almost 96,000 virtual property tours during lockdown (between January and March 2021) across a whopping 974 properties. The leading estate agency for East Kent, has managed to attract both buyers and renters into taking virtual tours using their 3D “walkthrough technology”.

Properties in East Kent, which are commutable London, have been in high demand for renters and buyers as people look to leave the city for more space.

The company’s “most viewers property” is a two-bedroom, mid-terrace house in a sought-after location just moments from the seaside.

The property has stunning interiors and is located in Lower Walmer which is close to the coastal town of Deal.

The home is light and airy and is situated close to schools, transport links and other nearby amenities.

For London commuters, there is a high speed link train that takes you directly to St Pancras in an hour and 40 minutes.

Period features such as original fireplaces give the home a charming feel.

Neutral decor, a modern fitted kitchen, a good sized garden and patio area make it an ideal home for a first time buyer or commuter.

If this home isn’t for you, Miles & Barr have shared three other properties currently available in East Kent.
