One cleaning fan shared how she managed to remove stains from her bathroom sink that she thought she would never be able to get rid of.
Posing on the Facebook group Cleaning Tips & Tricks, one woman showed before and after photos of her bathroom sink.
The before photos showed a stained sink with marks all over not only the basin but the tiles behind it too.
After some elbow grease and finding the right products, the after photos revealed a shiny white sink basin that looked almost brand new with no stains visible at all.
Posting on the group, the cleaning fanatic wrote: “Before / during and after.
“Equal parts of each so if you do cup of vinegar then cup of dawn etc.
“TIP: heat up the vinegar and use a magic eraser! the longer you keep it on the better but I only left it for an hour for the results.”
The woman used Heinz’ All Natural Distilled White Vinegar along with Dawn Ultra Dishwashing Liquid.

White vinegar is cheap, versatile and can be used to clean many items in the home.

You can use it to clean many household items including taps, showers and sinks.
You also don’t have to add anything to the white vinegar, mixing it with water could work just as well to remove stains.
However, it does have a strong smell and so it is recommended to add essential oils in with the mix to help leave a fragrant smell.
Instead of spending money on expensive window cleaners, mixing white vinegar and water together and then dispensing it into a trigger spray bottle can work just as good.
Mixing one part vinegar and one part water can also be used to clean shower screens, tiles and toilets.
Other cleaning fans were quick to take to the comments to express how amazed they were by the results.
One person wrote: “Shiny shiny shiny, eye catching.”
Another commented: “This is my go to, too! All I need is a few splashes of white vinegar, a drizzle of dawn, and a magic eraser. Works well and requires no scrubbing!”
Flash Magic Eraser Ultra Power sponges can be purchased at Tesco for as little as £3 and can last a long time when taken care of.
